As a registered nurse in Ontario I am licensed to practice nursing by the College of Nurses of Ontario.

The College outlines and enforces professional practice requirements for nurses in Ontario. In my place of work I am represented by the Ontario Nurses Association whose mission is to ensure the welfare of nurses in the workplace and enable them to provide high quality patient care.

          In my drive for continued education and learning I am also a member of the Canadian Nurses Association and have demonstrated my knowledge for emergency nursing in attaining my Emergency Nurse Certification. As a member of NENA I stay up to date on the most relevant emergency nursing practices and education.
